Does anybody here have any good tips on breaking in a new pair of dress shoes??

I have never had a problem with breaking in shoes before, but these new ones I have just kill my feet. They are the right size and all, its just the souls are really giving me a tough time (thick ass wood bottoms) and are destroying my heels.

Any advice? Since the bottoms are wood, I was thinking of possibly setting them in a pan or something where the wooden bottoms can soak for a little while, and then walking around in them w/2x pairs of sox for a few . . . .

put a couple paif of chushy socks ona and wear them around the house

man...i got a new pair as well...and if i dont wear multiple pairs of socks...the freakin shoes eat up my ankles...grrrr...lol

Wear em around. Also, there is benefit in buying a good pair of shoes. I have some Italians that only (Only.. HAH) ran me $300 and they feel great.

i'm pissedoffsol, bitch. And i'll wear whatever fuckign shoes I feel like it :)

lay them next to your naked girlfriend on the bed, then try them on

if that doesn't work put them back on the bed next to your naked girlfriend and post pics for troubleshooting purposes...

yeah but I walk to work . . . $300 shoes will be destroyed way too quickly.
obvious solution, get walking shoes and change when you get there.

you work at home. you would wear those pink bunny slippers you have all day and nobody will notice.

don't wear more socks then normal. they will stretch the shoes out. then when you wear them with normal socks, they won't fit. wear them an hour or two per day just around the house. if they hurt your fit or rub funny, they don't fit or you should get a pair that are more comfortable.

Be a man about it, put on your dress shoes, and walk for about 2 hours in your local mall.
