whenever i use my hand brake to do 180s i put flat parts in my rear tires, it make a bumpin nioce when im on the highway and vibrates the car. Am i doing it wrong??

lol  .... It's not that you are doing it wrong. It's just that 180° turns are not good on the tires and not recommended. If your tires' thread is really soft then it will get damaged more easily, especially from the hand brake turns. It will just eat the rubber away on the contact patch and since the tire is not rolling the rubber is only eaten away in one spot, making it flat...

Also, the amount of time you leave the handbrake up and the speed at which you driving will also vary the amount of tread you burn.

yea since you waited 3.5 years to respond to this thread, im sure itll take you that long to actually do it...

unless you are doing gymkanya events, there is 0 use for a 180 e-brake turn.

take a lesson at a track with an instructor and learn how to drive for real... not this ricer bullshit.

Yeah man, doing 180's on the street is a good way to wreck your car. One of my friends tried that on a two-lane street. He slid into a fence and f***ed up his car because he couldn't keep it on the road. He is hardly an idiot, he just didn't know what he was doing. In fact, he wentout to nowheresville to do it to "try to be safe" and still ended up wrecking:( And like that ancient post said, you will flatspot your tires if you do that shit, and nobody likes replacing tires that still have half their tred on them. I supposes you could switch them to the front that try to burn out until you rounded the tires back out a little, but it's still not worth it. Unless your friends are paying you $1000 everytime you 180, then just buy an XBOX and do all the 180's you want on NFS Most Wanted lol:p

i know a bit off topic but to solve you tire bumping noice and vibration just rotate your back tires to the front and get out one a back road away from any people, and reve engine and do a nice burn out that will eat some rubber off and causeing your tires not be equal agin lmao.

The original post was made SIX YEARS AGO.

Chances are the fool still hasn't learned to drive properly anyway.

If he's still alive. :/

Btw, I can do a 180 in the fit without the e-brake. It's not needed, or even smart. There's a reason why autocrossers don't touch the E-Brake; because it's not needed.
