What do I need to put my F20c into my EG6?

I am not swaping that engine, but Im sure you'll need these basic things;

F series motor mounts into 92-95 civic or del sol, or 94-01 intergra
drive shafts for that swap
ECU (computer of cylinder head you are using, in most cases)
a wiring harness for that motor swap

hasport sells a lot of these parts, they're expensive but the best!

if you could find a buddy to wire up your old harness with the F20c harness, that might save you some money. I seen someone does this on ebay, sells their services.

Forget the fact that the F20C is a reverse-rotation motor, that will not bolt onto an RSX tranny, nor will any of the Hasport mounts work with the motors mount location.

Forgetting the fact that the person who asked this question has no idea what type of an undertaking, you still gotta love the way he asks.

Cliffnotes: Sell F20C, buy a B-series swap, done.

What? Are you retarded? The F20C will not bolt into ANY civic with Hasport H/F series mounts. The F20C is out of the S2000, it's not remotely similar mount-wise to ANY other H/F/B/D series motor.

oh shit my bad for some reason i was thinking f22, no its not similar and also the fact that its a rear wheel drive i dont know what i was thinking, but anyways all thats for the h22 or f22 into an eg............. NOT a F20C...obviously im somewhat retarded

No prob, everyone makes mistakes...

I actually know someone who did it, but it's super-top-secret how they did and I'm not even supposed to let anyone else know that I know about it, and it was FWD...he called it his 'special K-series':ph34r:

i understand what you guys are saying and thankyou. about the reverse rotation, cant i just take the trans out of a jdm 90-93 accord si-r (f20b)? on the hasport website it says they make mounts (at least thats how i understand it) check it out:

Hasport Billet Mounts

is that f20 different from the s200's f20c? and all else fails it wont be hard to fab some up at my friends shop.

But would the 90-93 accord si-r tans work? are they the same motor? block?

that's the dumbest thing i have ever heard. why would somebody be so stingy with the information. he could tell 1000 people and 1 might have the resources and know-how to actually do it, but they never would. IMO it's a waste. why not be proud of being one of the only people to do something. god damn that's annoying to be so secretive.

The swap can be done I know someone trying to do it now . I will tell you this it takes money shit we had guy put a evo motor in hatch and it worked so anything can be done with money but you have to remember this is no beginniers swap so be prepared to spend about 10 to 15 grand if not more. Especially if you are paying someone. You need to do a lot of reading and research to get this done or you can go to a shop or call around to a shop that does imports that you trust and ask them how much to get a s2000 motor in a hatch and then see if you still want to do it or just pay them and be done with it.

hey bro you need the variable transitikizer conversion kit runs about 250-300 dollars or you can find one used if your lucky
