ok.. my moms birthday is tomorrow and i have no clue what to get her.. shes gonna be turning 53.. i'm on a limited budget so nothing too expensive.. any ideas??

hmm... back when i was younger i used to buy my mom stuff like potpourri and candles and shit. well, even now i have bought stuff like that, but nicer stuff. Do they have a White Barn Candle Co. there in the bakersfield mall? they have nice stuff. decorative candle shit like that is good because she can set it out to look nice or just burn the candle if she wants to. i don't know what you mean by a limited budget, but maybe a handbag if she's into that sort of thing. go to Macy's and pick up a Coach bag or Dooney and Bourke, not too expensive, but still shows you are willing to drop a little cash on her. you could easily walk out of there wiht a decent bag for under 200.

winters coming, if you know the kind of stuff your mom likes, maybe a nice jacket?

IDK, just some ideas...

edit:get her a vibrator
i was gonna say that but i thought it might be too vulgar, then i thought of a sex swing but vetoed that idea as well

get her a gift card to a nice restaurant
or a day at the spa or a facial or something...
something she would never buy for herself, but would enjoy if it was given to her...

Chocolate Fondue fountain! Went over great with my mom for Xmas. I got her that with a bunch of chocolate, grahms, marshmallows, etc..... She loves it! :D

really though, get her a gift card to a day spa. nothing beats a massage and relaxing day. not too spending either. $50-$100.

LMFAO you might as well get a food processor or some "As Seen on TV" shit. thats something she will probably use once or twice and stick it away to collect dust. atleast my mom would, idk, i just think its a little too boring. yea its cool at first, but like i said, it will probably not get used much.

ok.. when i say i'm on a budget i mean a very limited budget.. i get SSI/disability and i get little to nothing each month.. enough to pay rent and have a few bucks left over.. all excellent ideas.. the candles thing sounds more in my budget.. i would love to get her something a little more expensive but i cant afford it and she knows that..

then take the time to get her a very VERY meaningful card. here's what I would personally do on a limited budget.

1)good card=$1.99 from wal mart.
2)her favorite movie rental=$.99
3)popcorn and candy=$3.00
total=Less than $6

fun movie night with her favorite son, priceless.

WELL, she likes it and uses it often. She has a lot of parties and BBQ's, maybe this dude's family does too. Dont knock it man if it works :)

get her a nice card and scented candles... either lavender or citrus scented. :)

nah.. my mom dont do shit.. she works.. shops.. and goes to Vegas all the time.. lol.. and my stepdad goes flyfishing..

she like Vodka though.. maybe a bottle of Greygoose or somethin

spend some time with her. that will mean more than any gift will.
