we havent been serving any spinach for about 2 weeks where i work, we even had a new menu that was supposed to come out last week, but was delayed because of "spinach problems"

i never really asked about it, cause i dont really care. wonder if its all related though.

Yup, the place I work has been not serving anything with spinach. There is a huge E coli problem. We probably won't be serving it for awhile.
 
The Food and Drug Administration has urged people not to eat fresh spinach since it announced the E. coli outbreak a week ago.

Federal and state officials have traced the outbreak to contaminated spinach from California's Monterey, San Benito and Santa Clara counties, according to The Associated Press.

i just went to olive garden for lunch. they aren't serving any spinach at all. my friend was going to order the spinach and artichoke dip, but they aren't serving anything with spinach period.
 
I eat canned spinach, raw. I also prefer my cabbage raw. Which is why I pick up Brussels sprouts and eat them while I'm driving.
 
man, that was on cnn on like monday...theyve been pullin it from shelves for a while now.

I'm pissed they're pulling it.
they should pull most of their stock and leave just a little bit. maybe a few bags a day.

I under stand raw spinach is bad, but what if I wanna cook some? wtf.
 
Way to be a week late.

The restaurant hasn't been selling spinach since atleast last Sunday when I worked, I think they stopped on like Wednesday.
