I didnt know where to post this. I hope this is the right section.

Ok guys, here it is. Some of the stuff i bought to start tuning my civic.
Im so excited. yayyyy.

New laptop from best buy= $660 on sale
moates kit: $237
LM-1 wideband= $250

I spent about $1147 not including (crome pro) which is another $150 i beleive. :-(
alll cashhh babyy...

What do you guys think?

well, i wouldn't include the price of a laptop in a tuning arsenal, seeing as it will be used after the tuning processs as well. :)

^^true that. But the main reason why i bought it, was for tuning.
I have another in the house for internet surfing and shit.
This one stays in the garage.:D

Spent about $300 on all of that combined (no WBO2 yet; computer was put together using old parts and doubles as audio jukebox; 1.4Ghz, 512mb ram, 15GB HD, mini keyboard and MS "palm" mouse, 17" LCD screen)

i have no laptop yet, but im gona go buy one in a few weeks.
so far, i havent datalogged any of my tunes(ive tuned about 3-4 cars) and they've turned out pretty damn good for no datalogging.

but yea, i have
PLX m-300 wb
moates burn1 w/ atmel 29c chips
hulog datalog cable(just bought it)
and a laptop soon

I had too . Its been awhile. lol... + i might need you guys to help my build my gsr swap for next summer. lmao...
 
are you building the bottom end?

and are you going to tune on the dyno or the street?

already have a laptop, so i only need the WB,ostrich, data cable & cromepro.
i just want to see how easy it was for you to tune with the crome pro, so keep this thread going

I'll be getting that crome pro today.
I'll keep you guys posted on how it works out.


Right now im running a little rich because i havent tuned it, but it idles perfect.
Imma street tune it first, and then when i get it ready i jump on the dyno.
