thanks.....well the red one was my first project car and when spring comes along i would like to sell it and well go all out on the black one...but this time concentrate more on performance......
 
aside from an exterior makeover on the red one and a rear brake upgrade....nothing....im hoping to sell it in the spring and then put all my money and time in the black one....maybe a little jdm sleeper action:cool: .......
 
How much do you think you'll try and get for it?

I love the look of it for some reason, and it's not very often I see a rex with a body kit and big(ger) wheels that appeals to me. And I'm really diggin the ZC hood!

Do you have any other pictures of the interior/engine?

Well i am located in/around Toledo, Ohio......im not sure what spring will bring....im going to either going to swap the red one or the black one....if i sell the red one, i have no idea what i would ask for it because there are some other things i have to do to it over the winter.....i have new carpet, 2 almost mint 90 crx si seats out of the black car, some interior pieces to put in, a brand new oem sunroof, and some other minor things.....i like everything but the rear bumper on the red one.....and if i kept it i would replace it...the interior and engine bay are fairly clean.....i have a whole bunch of pics on my other computer which i dont have access to right this minute....i did all the body work with my dad and everything was done right the door jams and some of the engine bay were repainted....ill try to get those pics sometime soon....

thanks...i pretty much bought the car and worked with what i had....i would have done things more performance and less look and i think thats why i want to start going on that black one....

Andrew show him pics of your crx. the one that has every other thing done to it but the motor swap. :p
 
I've already PM'ed him a few times with a bunch of pics...

I'd love to pick up that red one, but it's got a bad trans and after he rebuilds the motor/trans I doubt I could afford it.(I would buy the shell any day...)
 
(andrew).....that rex of yours puts many to shame....i wish i could have picked that up back when i was i need of a car......its sooo clean.....yea well see what happens in the spring....if i decide to sell it in the spring ill keep you in mind.....i think if anything the black one is a valid candidate for a ls turbo set up;)....hey that wire tuck looks good.....a lot of work but looks good.......when are you getting back that zc?.....

that is a nice ride though. very nice body. it looks straight as a arrow. I like the wheels too. not to font of the bumpers since they have such a huge gap and are filled in with 'chicken wire'. If you had a FMI then it would be different story. overall nice dude! hope you get at least half of what you put in it.

its not that hard for the wire tuck doug. Andrew is helping me with my rex. he knows more so i'm kinda watching and learning. As far as i know me and Andrew have the only wire tucked crx's in Tally. go figure. Andrew should have some pics of my crx's.

yea i agree.....the rear bumper and wire are rice:( ... i thought about painting that wire black..and really im not to fond on kits but the car came with one .....im not being bias towards my car but the kit aside from the rear bumper is prolly one of the best i have seen.... but id take an oem or jdm crx over it any day the week.....the car is straight and no rust...it was fixed right.....but when we were doing the body work my dad decided not to perfect what was behind those door panels so taking the kit off and putting the stock trim on wouldnt look any good....so my hope is that in the spring with a nice interior, sound system and a working but stock drivetrain, i might be able to get a lil more from the average joe....i know i wont get too much even then but i really want to get a oem/jdm sleeper going in the spring.....i wish i had some crx guys around here.:( ....let me know if you ever come north....
 
I think your confusing a ZC with my D16Z6(Z6 for short... thats prolly why).

Anyway, I think and hope to have it back in the next couple weeks.
And you know what Abel... I bet your right. I bet we are the only ones in town with tucked bays... COOL!

Doug- I would definatly paint the wire black. I think it'd look awsome then... maybe even paint the wheels black and leave the lip polished...
