you can do anything you want to with enough time and money. Why are you trying to do such an obscene swap, and don't you enjoy being able to turn?

Its not really and obscene swap. Its been done many times already. You arent going to have problems turning either,i dunno where you came up with that.

I know it's not completely uncommon, but the h22 (in the 3 cars I've driven it in: prelude, civic, and integra) is a big, lunky, heavy engine which only really works in the prelude because the prelude sets the engine back in the engine bay so far. The integra and civic chassis (even with the right motor mounts) has the firewall set too far forward to make this a reasonable swap. Therefore, if it's not reasonable, it's unreasonable. Lots of people do it, the cars are nearly impossible to set up properly. Realistically, that engine is only good for the drag, it's got gobs of torque, nasty horsepower, and you throw it in a light chassis, and you have a rocket. Otherwise, if there are twists and turns on the road ahead, you'd better be on your best behavior not to upset that car's suspension geometry.

I'm just giving my .02 here, take it for what it's worth. I'm speaking from experience and from a little bit of theory, I haven't done the swap but have heard that it's quite difficult. I think the ideal all-around engine is any of the b18s (always been partial to the rare b17 though, too), but do as you like, and I wish you the best.

Actually the h22 is about 65lbs heavier than the B-series.Move your battery to the back thats 30-40lbs off the front and then your engine ways about as much as a boosted b-series whic people dont have problems turning in.

Then I stand corrected. I know I didn't like the feel of the H22 '94 integra I drove, but that could've been improper suspension geometry, bad camber angle, incorrect motor mounts... the list goes on and on.

Alot of people think the H-series is so much heavier but its really not

Thats exactly true.
You won't have ANY turning problems, your car will still handle the EXACT same, and you get uber amounts of power in just a stock platform.....

however it is most practical for track cars. it sits about 3 1/2" off the ground (oil pan)... so it's not a very safe dd... however ExplicitPerformance drives his every day...
