I have a 92' Prelude Si and I was just wondering if anyone has ever fixed one up before? If you have please give me some ideas I can do for my Lude.

Prelude H23

What I meant to say on my first comment was has anyone ever fixed up the H23 engine. What did they do to it what parts and stuff like that. I don't see or hear of any H23 motors fixed up so I just wanted to try something new you know.

Fixed up how? To go fast or be shiny? What kind of budget are we talking about here too?

plenty of people turbo that engine, but aside from that it gets almost no love. you COULD get some type S pistons, an H22 head, some cams and youd have a kick ass engine (itll probably be between 1000 and 1500 dollars worth of work). You might even be able to keep your old head and have it PnPed, but im not sure how much power youll make with that h23 head.

I know, but its an additional 5 to 15 horses and it helps with the MPG, but other than that I personally don't think a h22 head swap is worth it, plus all that sensors and wiring that you have to do I personally won't bother, but if you want Vtec go for it. I've heard its as easy as a LS Vtec swap.

a little bit different, but yeah, same principle. but ive had both, and the h22 is definitely worth it.
