Ya, so I finnaly got it done, so here are some tid-bits from working on it and some examples of the work it took to do it. Definetly worth it though even though everyone said it wouldn't be and I should have got an H22, it still is seriously fast. It even beat my freind's turbo prelude on the first day completed.

Here is what I started with.

Then we got out the accord F22a1 that I bought for 100$

And heres where we had to pound out the sides...;)(that mount also had to go.)
pict0237lw2.jpg

We had to do the same thing on the otherside along with making new mounts.
pict0239ck4.jpg

Alittle fabing and touch up paint and it was in nice and snug.

We also had to make a new alternator mount.
-Speedometer hookup
-Switch from a direct shift(4) to a cable shift(5).
-Make front/rear mounts
-Get bigger crx style radiator, customize a radiator fan for clearence
-Bought SS headers but had to modify to fit tighter.
-install emission box, ecu, and injector resistor box.
-Rewire from OBD0 to OBD1 without relizing we could buy somthing to do that.
-Also DPFI to MPFI
-Had to go from cable to hydrolic clutch.
-Fab a catback.(Exits infront of the passenger side rear wheel.)
-2.5" Full stainless steel.
-Moving the battery to the back.(No room up front, and it is already too front heavy.)
-Plus a bunch of stuff I probly forgot about(or am trying to forget about).

So these are some more old pics of it in progress but tomorrow I'll put up the complete photos.

So tomorrow I'll get some finished pictures (Looks alot better now) and then as soon as I can, I'll get some quarter mile times. Hopefully with some better tires.

I believe its 125 hp and 140 tq. I could be very wrong, but thats what I vaguely remember.

Cool build, different and I like that B)

So you made your own mounts? Can you not use h-series mounts?

i live in washington. i'm going to steal your car now. haha, j/k. that's cool that hondaswap is getting over to the west coast these days.

oh mann that is hella tight.. a f22 in a hatch that thing must be hella fast. ya thats hella tight good job that must have took some time wit all the wiring and electrical stuff. i was thinkin bout puttin a new engine in my 88 civic and gut it all out and all that good stuff

When used recreationally, ketamine can be known as K, Ket, Special K, Riddle, Horse, Spesh, Vitamin K, Smack K, Kit-Kat, Keller, Barry Keddle, HOSS, The Hoos, Hossalar, kurdamin, kiddie, Wonk, Regreta and tranq. Its psychotropic properties must be taken into account. Patients have reported vivid hallucinations, "going into other worlds" or "seeing God" while anaesthetized, and these unwanted psychological side-effects have reduced the use of ketamine in human medicine.

ya, I got ur pm, If I could do this again, I would definetly go with the F22b1. The only reason that I did the F22a1 is because I could buy the whole car for 100$. At the same time though, it is cool that it isn't dohc or vtec because it relies on pure displacement compared to the smaller B series engines. Also you can make alot more reliable power. The F series engines have a very beefy sleeve and run low compression so they usually go for like 300000 miles. I'm thinking right now if there could be a way to stuff in a turbo, but all the room in the engine compartment is taken and it already spins the tires everytime you put the pedal down. I've got wheels and tires coming on thursday so that may help.

I'm thinking right now if there could be a way to stuff in a turbo,

turbo&auto knows all too well about F22 turbos
excellent job, well done
i seriously had my doubts that you could get this running but i am very impressed

aftermarket mounts prob would have saved you alot of time along with the wiring and dpfi to mpfi conversions, but you did it all yourself and that says a lot more than buying it from someone who already figured it out the hard way...

i wouldn't discount the DOHC H23, the sohc VTEC F22 or the H22...
but the F22 is definately the way to go for some budget boost

I never really thought about doing an F until now.The worlds fastest allmotor sohc honda is a f series.

Thanks for the props, here are the finished pictures finnaly.

We had to bend the stabilizer bar to make room for the bigger pulley.

Heres some pictures of the catback, it's all 2.5" or larger all stainless steel. Spoon Sports high flow cat. The only normal steel is the 3" cherrybomb.

Here is all the axles we cut up just to get a pair that would work. It ended up consisting of two right side outer civic axles and a left and right accord axles. We had to go back to nappa like 4 times because they kept giving us the wrong ones.
