DEEEAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! People in Florida sure know how to kick it;)

Hope this puts a smile on some people's face^_^ .... I know I'M still giggling.

I think the first one should read.... "IF MR T. DROVE A CIVIC"^_^

you laugh but that GVR4 is 400+awhp... im gonna try to see if i can dig up the post on MPF about it.

then i guess it doesnt excuse the fact the EVO rally cars are rice as well.

The notion of a roof scoop being functional is laughable.(Bwahahaha) How can something that sticks out and obstructs the natural tendancies of airflow and aerodynamics be beneficail to the car and improve performance?

Think about it this way. The car is essentially a "plow".... it forges a path through the airstream. I know there's scientific data to back me up here somewheres. So the more crap you put on the exterior, and the more paths you force the air to travel through, the less aerodynamic the car is. I can't remember who started doing it, but doesn't Ferarri have underbody panels that improve air travel?

What I'm getting at, is that unless someone with their own wind tunnel comes along and says that wings/park benches/whaletails/stepladders/shoppingcart handles help the car out..... AND they have numbers to back it up, then there's no reason especially on the street. Any inherent benefit that a spoiler would provide could only be experienced on a GT circuit closed course... ie: Nurburg in Germany. Again, there's a formula for the ratio of downforce.... but i'm almost certain that unless you drive down an open road fighting an oncoming windstorm.... the spoiler is there just to announce that you're a ricer.

I know this has way the hell the other way, but I just feel strongly about my views on spoilers of any kind.... non-functional for street .^_^

roof scoop is usually used to cool the rear brakes without causing distrubances in the air travel along the side of the car

i have read that wings won't start to produce significant downforce till 80+

lol

d17, did you just find the internet a couple weeks ago? lol cuz like all this stuff is YEARS old

You can't spell Disappointment without 'DSM'

"Nothing wrong with a DSM though I had a 97 GS-T Spyder"
GVR4's are nice but not when rice.

well...a wing on a rear wheel drive car is functional...but on a front wheel drive car...its just stupid...ive always thought about setting a wing on my hood and taking a pic of it just for the humor of weighing down my front end on the front wheel drive car...hahaha...
