Does anyone know where I could get a cheap b16 block and tranny for my 88 crx for not a ton of money. I am willing to drive a long distance and build it if its just a block. If anyone knows where to get one of those 30K Japan motors for less than a grand or if someonne has an extra motor they want to sell me email me a sprocket_3@hotmail.com

im not sure what you wont to spend but for about 1200 you can get the hole set up and drop it right in

Your best bet would be hmotorsonline.com , I've purchased several motors from them and had damn near 100% satisfaction...

well what i mean in japan they come with a b16 so yes it will drop right in when he buys the hole swap it will come with all mounts ecu and everthing, but he will have to go to mpfi

You cannot use the stock JDM mounts. The body mounting points are different, you would have to weld in the jdm body mounts too.

This is from HMO:
*Requires aftermarket parts for most applications. We can supply you with the hasport mount kit for $300 and the hasport linkage for $100.Prices only valid with purchase of a complete changeover. We can also supply you with 90-93 Integra steering knuckles and hubs for $50 if you need them. Also availabe is the Hasport Aluminum A/C bracket for $160 and the Hasport wiring sub-harness for EF civics that are either HF or Si models (not DX or STD) for $60.

This was taken directly from the HMO site.

exactly, you still have to get aftermarket mounts. The mounting points are not the same as USDM.That info was on the 88-91 complete changeover
