Nick Go FAST!!
I got 190, 110, 190, 190. Looks like the rings are toasted or a ring land busted in that one cylinder. I'll be pulling it this or next weekend to start the tear down :D

Whoa hold on there partner. Is 110 really that bad ? I've run motors that look like this. Also, I would look into the Valves more (D series, number 2 valve.. VERY Common I blew 2 in 9 months)

Try givin each cylinder a shot of oil before u do the comp check. If the pressure comes up some with the oil, it's ur rings, but if it's the same, it's a valve.

Uhh, yeah it is really that bad. The compression is nearly 50% less in that cylinder. Regardless of what you have run there are still right and wrong ways of doing things. Also I think he has an F series or H series motor in his Accord.

I would pull the head off and see what is going on in there. Valves or bottom end the head still has to come off.

110 is especially bad when boost hits and the motor starts puking oil everywhere...

and yea, he's running F series

i would rip it down before you start throwing chunks into your turbo...

That's the plan. I took it for a quick spin before its out of commision for a few months. It smokes REAL good now :D

vids soon to follow

nice. You were revved out quick. You could probably start in second with the right clutch!

I love accords, even though I sold mine. Waaaaay underrated.

god damn, i thought you car was a heap with lots of shit under the hood, sleeper style
that car looks clean as hell
nice man, real nice

but uh...
thats YOUR driveway
lol
you're suspossed to eat the road, not your own pavement

 I know, I know. I was afraid to go anywhere with it. I left it in 1st taching it out trying to blow it up good. Didnt happen so I put it away after a couple tries :)

I just compounded the car last weekend, made the paint look like new again. I fixed the rust in the rear quarters too :D

ok this is a technique i used once on a d series motor, i learned this from having a rx7. i had a seal go "bad" on me and my motor did want to kick over i had a compression of 50 and i should have 110, so i was told to put some ATF in the housing that had low compression, let it sit for about 5 mins and crank it over. it smoked like a mofo but it started ran it for a good 30 mins let it cool off did a test on it and it shot back up to 105. i did it to a d series motor and it worked and i just did it over the weekend to my dads leaf blower that had bad rings on it because my bro didn't use oil in the gas so i think it is a trick worth trying!

o and that is a nice burn out video! is that ants car next to you that blue one?

Thats my boy Rons, the car that Ant bit off of :p

I will give it a shot, why not right? I plan on pulling it this weekend anyway so I guess it wouldnt hurt. Wanna come over this weekend and pull a motor with me ;)

yes...a good known trick...but if done wrong..then hydro-lock..

but the correct way to do it is to remove the spark plug, put the piston at bottom dead center, and fill with ATF, SeaFoam, or even MarvleMystery oil....then put the spark plug back in...and rotate the crankshaft slowly...so the fluid level raises above the valves...and let it sit overnight.

Next day, remove the sparkplug and see if the fluid level went down...and try to get as much fluid back out as possible if it didn't drain thru the rings. rotate the crank thru the full rotation with the spark plug out, and again with a cleaned sparkplug to verify that your not going to hydrolock...doing the rotations by hand. then once you feel comfertable the possibility of hydro-locking is gone, crank it up and let it idle for a while....then change the oil and filter...and if it runs a little better, be happy...if not...then do the work needed to fix the valves or the ring...or just get another engine.

Also check your valve clearence...

ATF does wonders for free'ing up seized motors or stuck rings
which is prob why it worked for you

I thought that trick only worked for valve stem seals? If its rings or a valve seat, ur just wastin ur time.
