im not shore about mecp we have a different system over here. to be a quallified auto electrical fitter you have to do 3 years of tech and 4 years of aprenticeship, this training is not audio instalation specific but covers the whole electrical side of cars. batts, alts, starts, sparks, wiring shorts, wiring mods, spots, trailer lights, security, central locking, audio,diagnosting engine management faults, heating venting air con probs and anything other that the customer wants done electrical. there are a number of ways of going about putting a stereo in you have your way and i have my way they may not be the same but the important thing is it is done properly. iwas trained by two tradies with over 35 years of experence and i have not had a stereo iv done ever come back.
