Is the model really the STD? Does the paint around the front lip mysteriously blister up and then heal within a few weeks?

Yes it's a STD; 4-spd transmission, no AC, D15B1 with the "HF" style exhaust manifold, no rear windshield wipers, etc. The previous owner primered the crap out of it, so i cant tell. I knocked some of the primer off when I sprayed degreaser on it.

My STD didn't have an HF style manifold. The CX does, it's supposedly an "HF Civic Hatch".

Post some pics of your engine bay. I wanna see your ITB's.

Right now the engine bay is empty; doing a wire tuck, swapping the main harness from the CRX, and rewiring some other stuff. I'll get some pics at the end of the week though(I still haven't bought a digital camera so I have to borrow one.).

What year was your STD? Mine is a 1988. Don't know if that makes a difference. At first I didn't notice it had an HF style manifold until I was under the car and noticed no catalytic converter, looked to the front and noticed the header(when I bought the car, I didn't even look at the motor because it was coming out anyways).
The "HF Manifold"
