OK SO i'M NEW TO THE FORUM and I need help surprise i'm getting a crank positin sensor code and it won't rev past 3500 i have all the right parts even a jkobd adapter harness i followed the directions and i don't know whats wrong heeeelllp

Check over your Distributor wiring. Check to make sure no pins are slightly pulled out.

This is what happened to me recently, and it turned out to be just 1 pin loose from the connecter.

Kinda sounds like the igniter unit in the dizzy. =)
Rywire is JKOBD (or has been since Oct. 05) so maybe call us

so the dizzy is new and i put an msd pro cap and external coil on it. i'm thinking about the whole hasport harness, but i'm not sure. i will definitly call you guys. i need help with a capital HEL!!!!

sounds like the motor is in limp mode

man, there should be something in the "new member" thread that tells people what a "dead post" is. Look at the last response to this thread man - over 5 weeks ago.
And limp mode does not cause a rev limit - it causes a hunting idle.
