a buddy of mine is swapping an ITR motor/trans into his 91 civic hatch. now i realize the brakes wont hold back that power. is it possible to swap the front knuckles w/ calipers and rotors, and the rear trailing arms and brakes from a corresponding year integra? any help would be greatly apreciated.

tell ur friend to get everything off of a 90-91 civic ex(front stuff) cuz they have bigger disc brakes and actually u can get the rear disc brakes off of it too but here is what ya need

90-93 Integra Rear Trailing Arms (with everything attached Rotor, Caliper, E-brake Cables...)
or
90-91 CRX Rear Trailing Arms (with same...)
You can use either trailing arm but for CRX you need CRX e-brake cables and for Civic you need Integra e-brake cables (might as well get whole CRX trailing arm + cables for CRX, and whole Integra trailing arm + cables for Civic)
90-93 Integra "4040" Brake Proportioning Valve (Prop Valve), HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
New Rotors or resurface old ones (I used new Brembo Blanks)
Remain. Calipers (if your old ones are in bad condition)
Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines (recommended... I used Good ridges)
New Brake Fluid (I used Castrol GTLMA DOT4)
Brake Pads (I use OEM Honda/Nissin pads)

that is what i thought i appreciate your advice

No problem I am happy to help thats what this sites for even though some people who "TRY" and give advice dont realize that dont let certain people here bring you down because honestly some will.
