i have a hatch EK with a gsr swap.. its bone stock.. against the rsx type S.. who will win??

well.. i have a b16 EG and i've taken a 05 type s

as ~advertised... 0.068 power to weight for a 2500lb EK vs 0.071 for a 2800lb rsx ... I'm with "unlikely hero" ... driver matters

Still- It's very unlikely the EK has stock power output (exhaust, intake, etc.)

If you run the numbers with torque considered ... RSX

smoke 'em

Well…he's definitely got the power and torque advantage, but you have a killer power to weight ratio going on. So basically I think if you don’t make any mistakes with shifting you’ll win.

What is your problem dude?
Some people just like building up their engine istead of looking for a quick fix.
And stop insulting people's opinions...to each his own.

Lol I win with my bone crushing 0.89 power/weight ratio .

Ok seriously. This is a driver's race. There is a lot more to think about than whats under the hood too. . . .remember, tires, differential, gearing, and suspension all play a huge part in who will win.

I would say the type S, only because its got an advantage with gearing . . if nothing else.

if the type s wins theres somthing wrong ive beat them with a sohc

+ many............

i have a 4 dr eg/gsr i/h/e stock computer and full interior and i have walked them every time ......... not winning by much just about 2 cars

i would say it depends on the driver...my buddie has a stock type s and he be runnin mid 15s

ekGSR runnnnin 14'

;)
i have a ek hatch with a gsr an i ran a stock rsx type-s al i have is a skunk2 intake manifold intake header an catback running a p28 ecu we raced at like a 25mph roll as we raced i slowly crept away from him i think it was only cause he was running a stock ecu he told me his fuel cut off kick in at like 8200rpm my chip allows me to shift at 9000rpm i know its a not really safe to shift that high but i had to him know
