ok im getting ready to do a swap in my 92 hatch and i would like some in put on the engines i have picked out a crv/vtec or a l/s vtec. can i get some in put please thanks

what do you wont to do with it drag race or road race and do you wont to turbo it on down the road or stay all motor

what's that sayin ... can't beat?

I've seen some nice B20Z frankensteins & a
B20B low compression version, on a turbo.

Good on ya, make sure the cylinder sleeves arent too thin .. machine shops can do that.
Dart used to make (maybe still do) B20 blocks that resolved the thin cylinder sleeves that some of the stock ones had... meaning their better to race &/or turbo

I always see people posting about how B20 sleeves are too thin to make any power with, and 99.9999% of the time it's from people who have never had any experience with a B20. I had a B20/VTEC a while back, bored to 84.5mm with Wiseco 13:1 pistons, and had zero problems with the sleeves being too thin. Unless you're boosting, you'll be fine with the stock sleeves.

well i was going to just going all motor , just for road racing i don't know a lot about boosting and really dont want to boost maybe supercharge later down the line n=but for now just probly leaving it stock (itr manifold, itr cams little things like that) not realiy wanting to go through the motor right now. I want to do the swao and see how it goes form there, i dont want to be disapionted in it. Thanks for all the info.

I would do ls/vtec. its cheap and most shops can do the conversion for you cheap or you can even buy the kit on ebay for like 200 bucks and do it all yourself. all you will need to do is tap a hole for the oil line kit that is supplied with the kit. you can run stock ls/vtec and beat up on most gs-r swapped hatches. I had a ls/vtec with ctr pistons, stock shotpeened ls rods and itr cams. made around 210 whp on an obd1 chipped p28 ecu. there fun but you really cant spin them that high. 8k rpm max. i shifted mine at 9k with stainless manley valvetrain and i spun a bearing and put a huge hole in the block =( but if you can trust yourself to shift no higher than 8k than I recommend ls/vtec.
