I don't know the proper name for it... it's the sensor with 2 prongs above the oil filter.

Hey Andrew, which book did you get that out of? btw, is that the same one seen in your head gasket threat?
 
It's a .PDF shop manual for a Civic/CRX I downloaded from the 'net.

What? that doesn't have anything to do with coolan. It is an oil pressure sender that clicks on when your oil pressure goes lower than a certain level and then your oil pressure light comes on.
 
No, thats the oil-pressure switch, which is the Single Plug(the one in the picture I posted).

The 2 prong sensor is indeed the Fan switch/coolant sensor
