thats kool i got it for 450 long block at hmotors.. when does vtec engage is it 5500 or 4500.. other than that is it an alright motor with i/h/e exedy stage 1 clutch?? its getting swapped as we speak.

my vtec is 4400 cause of the chip but it runs to rich so im looking for a stock p28 ecu for it.if it kicks in at 5500 it would be stronger I think with stock p28 it kicks in at 5500 its a little faster than the d16z6.its definitely one of the nicer sohc motors hmotors is also where I got mine

i have a p28 also but my vtec with the d16z6 was 4500..?? thats wierd that must mean my ecu was chipped already?? why would it be stronger if it kick in later. instead of before like. u know earlier...
