That would save the GOP.

lots of strong candidates, Condi, McCain and now Guiliani. I'm happy. What we needed was Tom Tancredo - but he turned it down.

I don't follow politics much, but i think he would take in a lot of votes because he is a familiar face from the 9/11 incident.

The former mayor is a moderate who supports gun control, same-sex civil unions, embryonic stem-cell research and abortion rights — stands that would put him at odds with the majority of the GOP conservative base
this could be a problem though.

I think the US is ready to get away from fundamentalist Conservatives and lunatic liberals and get back to middle of the road republicans and democrats.

I think Guiliani is that start. The opposite side of the fence offers.. who.. Hillary, Lieberman, Dean, Sharpton, and prolly Kerry again. And those people are way left. (Well, I guess Joe isn't .. WAY left.. but he's still insane in the brain)

Ya think?

The past six years have seen nothing but the farthest left and right wingers that anyone could possibly dig up.

Nobody wants neocons and left-wingnuts (I refrain from using the term 'liberal' because we don't want to be associated with most of those wackjobs).

Guilani vs Obama in 08... bring it on!

I like Rudy... to some extent.

but there's a lot of rules he put in place in the city that piss me off

Strong candidates and Condi in the same sentence ?? please make it stop.

We can't have an eastern african Muslim as the chief of the Union in a time when Islam has declared war on non-islam.

No way, no how.

As far as Condi, give me one reason why not ?

And why not? He's an American, isn't he?

That's like saying we can't have a Christian because Christianity has declared war on non-Christianity. Which in many ways, they have. Not to the extent of the Islamic radicals, but you get the idea.

You can't bar someone from the presidency because of their religion.

Smoking gun. Mushroom cloud.

look for Collin Powell to run with him, allot of people downplay this but the fact of the matter is they share the same secret service detail, have been for at least a month (last time I saw them) and I don't think either of them are eligible for secret service protection at the moment

No, But we can't effectively fight Islam with a muslim president. No way, no how. And remember, we are at war with Islam - They declared it.

Obama is really liked now, but god knows what for. He has made no statements about Darfur, Iran or North Korea. We know his dem views on Iraq - not the worst, but also not at all accurate. Also, he "stands with" some pretty anti-american and anti-military people. not barring him for his religion, just for his beliefs. big difference.

And Bush stands next to some of the people who directly funded the attacks of 9/11. Bandar bin Sultan's wife wired money to the hijackers to pay for flight training. Why are they not in Gitmo?

Oh yeah... "Bandar Bush", I forgot.

And that's YOUR answer ?

Yup. Condi fed us the same bullshit the rest of the administration did to get the Iraq war started. None of which was true.

condi is awesome, it's a sad day when people don't like leader because they act on what they believe rather then support whatever will get them voted *COUGH* HILLARY *COUGH*

What she believed was wrong. It was shown that it was wrong. She decided to "stay the course". Which is wrong.

condi is awesome?

omg.

I can 'understand' why you like bush... I don't agree with it, but i understand it.

condi.... is just a freakin idiot.

proof? watch the 9/11 comission report videos, where she blatantly lies about stuff, gets called out on it repeatedly, and constantly avoids the question given to her.
