so, last night i passed out at like 730... woke up around mid night, rolled over, passed out again... woke up at 330. watched some tv for a bit, and passed out again until 9 this morning.

thats like stupid amounts of sleep.

and now, i'm sitting in my chair, half dosing off because i'm "tired".

wtf?

last week i couldn't sleep...
this week all i can do is sleep...

wtf.
 
Yale has a sleep center, and they pay people for studies. They even have overnight suites that are pretty killer.
 
Last time I had sleep trouble it was a combination of high stress, lack of exercise, and comsuming too much caffine (in that order). The stress level is hard to change, but I started riding my bicycle everywhere and drinking decaf some of the time and it helped a bunch.

Not to mention that my gas bill dropped big time.

In the future, workdays will be 13 hours long.
 
you probably just need:

some exercise when you get home, or sex.

to shoot one off before you got to sleep.
 
you know I started taking coral calcium from GNC two weeks ago and I don't wake up at night anymore and my energy levels throughout the day have been great! My stepmother (who is an amateur nutritionist) was telling me about how calcium, zinc, vita D blends like that help your sleep patterns.

I am going to have to try that, though you have to be careful with Calcium intake, kidney stones != fun.
 
I got a bottle of flexeril 80 mg that is uhmmm...
 
Cut caffeine out 100% and start working out and eating right.

If after 1 month of doing that you still have issues see a sleep doctor.
till you try that, stop bitching. =)
 
muscle relaxand with a sleep helper...knockes you out cold in 20 minutes and lets you sleep 8-10 hours. the 40 mg pills did nothing to me, the 80mg pills put me to sleep, but I was up in 4 hours...and still in pain....so I gave up on them.
 
plus...I was drinking 7-10 beers a day, taking meds till I was comfortable, but on Halloweens day, I bought an inversion table, and since then...I've gotten my back almost pain free, I can walk straight, I can now lift things, bend over, work on cars again, and I'm a little happier.... with no more drugs...so the useless drugs are just sitting in the cabinet. I still drink 5-8 beers now...cutting back, and I'll prolly quit smoking soon...since peer pressure from the wife is nagging too much lately since her friend just had some cancer tumors removed from his chest, and another one of her friends got skin cancer and goes under the knife on the 29th....if the operation and therapy doesn't work out, then she might only have a few months left to live...so that made my wife nag me more.
