I blame half the parents fault and half the kids fault. This illistrates EXACTLY why I am going to buy my kid the best car $200 can buy.

my parents didn't buy me my first car.

i walked/rode my bike to work, or used a parents car when they were home from work already/weekends.
before that, i slung papers for 4 years.
then, when i was just shy of turning 17, i bought my first car for 12,500 CASH.
 
lol, i bought both of my cars (granted, the cash grama paid me for selling her car helped buy my prelude) but still. If i buy my kids car im not spending more than $1,500 (by that time $1,500 will probably be more like $3,000, but you know what i mean).

And about the parents. What kind of dipshit fucktard buys their 18yo daughter a PORSCHE? I don't care how responsible she was or how good her grades were. That's a prime example of people with WAY more money than brains.
