So did anyone get anything good? I didn't get to go out because 1) I'm broke and 2) my girlfriend had to work so i'm at home watching my son...

I did plan on getting an entertainment system for my living room but oh well, there's always ebay...

so what did you guys get...

I found the inside of my eye lids. We spent some quality time together. :D

I need to do that, but i'm just way to overtired right now to even think about going to sleep.

I'm may go out and check some things out later, I don't care if I missed some of the best deals, I didn't get home til like 7 AM and agreed to get some friends to work by 9:15 AM, I actually got a lot of stuff that I needed done accomplished today, so my day off work wasn't completely wasted.

Plus I hate the greedy crowds, I should purposely go to the highest class shopping centers looking like I came straight out of central Jersey, I've only been wearing professional attire lately and I get a whole lot more respect but that's only fun for a while or when I want that look. I just have to be the center of attention once in a while and some of the looks I get amuse me, it's great having a whole different style then a lot of the people out here, it starts a good conversation to whoever I talk to also.

I keep on going off topic. I kinda want a new phone though, mine is old and beat up and I just gave my Nextel away. I'm just trying to be a little conservative because I know I'm going to end up quitting in a week and my reserves aren't at their peak.

it was fucking crazy at best buy... i wanted to get a laptop for $380 or the $250 and lines of 100+ people started forming 11pm thanksgiving day!! all the shit i wanted sold out so i got nothing this year:(

I worked from 5am-5pm...

...so I really didn't get a chance to buy shit.

made a lot of $$$ at work though

I did not even try. Ive worked at Best Buy on Black Friday and it just not worth it. You have to camp there 20 hours before the doors open and then you gotta deal with people that don't care about anyone else. I'm not sure about any where else but here in Spokane, one of the best buys makes more money on Black Friday than they do the rest of the year.

a friend of mine got a good digital camera, and along with it received a free 350 dollar printer.

my roommate got a second xm receiver for the one he already had for 300, that was all worth around 500ish.

I just got a couple small things i needed but nothing spectacular.

A couple new collars for the dogs, along with new ID tags...yay.

I didn't buy anything... But my boyfriend bought me 2k worth of jewlery... and i ended up getting a 500$ gift certificate from him spending so much at the jewlers to spend in the future... I dont even like jewlery.. he shoulda got me parts... but hey, nice touch.

Bought two new Craftsman 5-drawer tool chests. They were on sale for $79.99, normally $209.99. Bought one for my dad and one for me. :D

I worked, But found these sick corona cups, bucket, and coaster combo dealio's for like 12 bucks. Bought a few of those in corona, and a couple in budweiser. Definitely worth it.

Nah... What I do is tell everybody I ordered online, and it hasn't arrived yet, then Dec 26th buy EVERYTHING... :D

250GB 16MB cache Western Digital Hard Drive for $60.00

Oh yeah.

32" 720p LCD HDTV from... get this... Home Depot!

It's an off brand, but as an upgrade from a 20 year old CRT with the top 15% of the screen burned out and shown as a black bar, it's an absolutely fantastic change.

My brother and I got in line at 11pm on Thanksgiving, and were 2nd in line. There were already about 100 people in line at the Circuit City across the street (the front two people in that line actually brought out full-size reclining living room chairs at the entrance and laid in them the whole night with blankets :) ). Since no one expects electronics at Home Depot, there were only 4 people including us in line the whole night until about 4:00am, my brother and I taking 1 hour shifts all night, with one in line and one dozing in the car. Even by morning, only about 15 people showed up for the opening...

And the opening was awesome. :)

Home Depot must not be used to Black Friday openings, they were completely unprepared for what was to come. They didn't give out vouchers for their 7 TVs, they didn't ask us to keep things civil, they just opened the doors. We were 2nd in line and got our TV without incident, but the last TV was wrestled over.

Wrestled.

By a white middle aged housewife and an old middle eastern man.

The man was the 8th one in line for the 7 TVs, so he was pushing his way through the line, quite violently, literally knocking people down on the way to the TVs. He got all the way up to my brother who was third behind me and the first guy, and tried to push him down as well. My brother was expecting it by then though, and blocked him until all 7 rightful line waiters were passed. :) One he saw me grab a TV, he disengaged and walked off, and the man sprinted towards the last one and pushed the woman grabbing it with enough force to knock her down and make her skid a few feet. She recovered quickly and dove on top of the TV and they wrestled, on the ground, and argued over the TV for quite a while as we paid and got out. As we were packing up and leaving, we saw the woman (who was the rightful 7th line waiter) exiting with the TV, so either she won the fight or other people appealed to the staff that she was the right one to take it.

It was an awesome and hilarious site to see. :D
