Just stopping in to say hi, been a member of the hondaswap group on myspace for awhile figured I'd finally drop by the actual site to see what it's about, didn't expect it to be another forum, but I like it. I'm also on H-t and sho.

I drive a 2000 si, just finished my second swap on it about 2 weeks ago, swapped from the B16B to a built B18C5-R, listed below is everything that's done to it for now:

Midnight Blue 2000 Civic Si, with a built 2000 Integra Type R engine.
Head is ported and polished,
Crower rods,
JE pistons
Skunk 2 stage 2 cams,
REV Valves springs and retainers,
skunk 2 intake manifold,
Act flywheel,
RPS six puck sprung hub clutch,
AEM cam gears,
AEM fuel rail,
STR cam seal,
K2 cold air intake,
throttle body spacer,
DC sports 4-1 headers,
APC catback exhaust system.

NRG Coilover system
17" Enkei CDR9 rims
Kumho tires

Clear with Crome rings L.E.D Altezza tail lights
Crome and Blue Dual Halo projector headlights
M3 style side mirrors with turn signals and L.E.D's
DC sport short throw shifter
Auto Dimming Navigational rear view mirror
Stainless steel door poppers

1. If my paint job was factory I wouldn't bother listing the color and 2 I do know the difference in blue so I wouldn't make a mistake like that. A this Si factory came black

Yep I'm still wating for her to tell me how she got that done. After the swap I was kinda hoping I had just kept my boosted B16B cause everyone I know with the ITR said they have problems with it boosted, the only way I can boost it is to swap out my rods for lower compression ones and then I can still only run 7 pounds of boost safely, so it defeats the whole purpose, but then I remembered I wanted to go all motor:p . SO unless she is sitting at some amazingly high level of boost with all the work I have done to the motor now I think I could give her some serious comp once I upgrade the rest of my fuel system, swap ecu's and add my 100 shot

Throw the stockers back on and you got one hell of a car there. :thumbsup:
 
never liked altezzas, even on GMC trucks with dickheads for drivers.

I know, most people don't like them, shit I didn't either, but for some reason I was stuck on having L.E.D taillights and they were the only company that made them for the Si, so I broke down and got them
 
Yeah, if hte car was white I could deal with them but they look just so out of place with that paint color.

Agreed, but once I get my new hood and body kit she'll be getting another paint job, I'm going back black and silver marble paint job and if I still doon't like the chrome rings they came with extra rings that are paintable

Welcome to HondaSwap!

If you're able to tune for a 100 shot of juice on the ITR, you should be able to handle tuning boost on high compression too.
 
Im actually a member of the no-altezza taillights foundation.. I dont rock stock tails on my si, i have 96-98 tails.. which tie in a little better with the amber side markers and my fogs.. I bought my car with altezzas.. and seriously thought about killing the kid i bought them from when he said he threw away the stocks when he got tezzas.. fuckin kids!

I bought my car with altezzas.. and seriously thought about killing the kid i bought them from when he said he threw away the stocks when he got tezzas.. fuckin kids!

yeah same thing happened to me, but the guy i bought the car off of was a 35 year old man, luckily stock tails are back on my crx.

Oh don't worry I still got the stock tail lights, the stock head lights, stock fenders, shit I got all the stock parts just in case someone hits me as long as it's just body damage and swap back to factory. Main reason for all the body changes I like the show look, plus my team participates in a lot of car shows. We got 2 divisions race division and a show division, and with my setup I can participate in both, plus the way I win most of my money is all the body work. Some people think it's all show, a few even call it rice, but I love my lil sleeper.

xB's don't come with taillights. It's all aftermarket.
