So here's part of the IM I was telling ya'll about that I have going back and fourth with one of the admin guys from ht.

He erased the beginning of it but i'll fill u in: All started right after I had finished my swap, I was talking to a lot of guys in the ITR forum and everyone wanted to see pics of the swap and my ride so I posted in the ITR forum.

Eventually the thread turned into a whole bunch of shit talking everyone loving the engine but some having a problem with my tezza's and some saying doesn't matter what was done to the ride the engine spoke for itself, and me being the smart ass that I am replying to each and every flamer.

Soon after the thread got deleted and I recieved and IM stating that it was deleted cause the original post wasn't ITR related. To which I replied back how is it not ITR related the engine is a B18C-R, do u not know what that is, it's an ITR engine Jspec. To which the dumbshit replied it is not an Acura Integra type R therefore it is not ITR related.

My reply, "ok just to get this straight, you're saying that because I don't drive an Acura Integra type R, if I need help motor problems I can't post in the ITR forum.

and this is where the IM picks up that he didn't delete, he replies:

ThatGuy4life (4:03 AM 12/1/2006): The forum rules might be to not post stuff that isn't related to a particular forum in that forum, but I'm sure they don't say jack about me not being able to post in the ITR forum if I need help with a problem with my motor because I don't DRIVE an Acura Integra type R. I have a B18C-R in my vehicle which makes it ITR related.

Let that marinate a lil bit and honestly tell me that what u said before makes sense. Have a nice day

technically you are wrong. that is a chassis specific forum. not engine specific. post your question in the all motor forum, or the gen. tech forum. there are A LOT of guys who know what thery are talking about when it comes to engines in the all motor forum.

but from the looks of it, it sounds like you were just showing off your ride anyway, in which case it would belong in the apearance forum. you posted in the wrong forum.

Like I said I did just post it in there cause most of the guys that knew about the swap wanted to see it, so I wasn't pissed when it got deleted. It's the reason he said he deleted it at first, until he said I can't post in that forum cause I don't drive an ITR. chassis or no chassis it's still ITR related. It says model type which is to include the engine not just the body.
 
its a chassis specific forum. what dont you get about that? they dont care if its ITR related. its not a an ITR chassis. if you put an ITR shift knob on your civic, would you poast it in the ITR forum? or if an ITR owner swapped in a RSX engine (k20) would they post it in the RSX forum? i hope not. you can post in any forum you want, but dont post outside of the forum guidelines. even if you dont drive an ITR you can post, just dont post about anything other then the ITR chassis. its not a hard concept.
 
what if its a GSR with a c5 in it?
does that count as an ITR chassis?

what if they cloned a GSR into an ITR, would that be allowed in the expo or they only want legit type r's?
 
and that's why I don't post Honda stuff....everyone gets to anal about everything....

So I post crap about Datsuns on a Honda board....no complaints yet...hehe

Apparently they do care if it's ITR related cause that was what he told me, he said nothing about it being chassis specific.

ITR, to them, represents the whole car. not the components. ITR related means things related to the ITR chassis. not its components. its not a hard concept. im telling you exactly how it is. look at all the other forums in that section, CHASSIS SPECIFIC.

it says right at the top "Model Specific Forums"
 
I've been understood what you've been saying, but my theory is the engine makes the car, without the motor u just have a shell. ITR related should mean every thing dealing with ITR's from the front to back including the engine most of all, But anyways what's done is done

Didn't nobody come here to whine. It was just a post cause I had nothing better to do at the time and I was going off of my last thread that compared forums, and E what took u so long buddy
 
Your post is NOTHING but whining.

You posted in the wrong forum. Period. The correct forum for you to post in would be either Hybrid or All Motor.
