Just got the ok to start driving my work truck to and from work instead of my car.

Personal gas money then > personal gas money now.

Mo money in my pocket every week! This'll help out a little bit too. Wish I had driven the truck home last night, fuckin snow; 40 minute drive instead of a 15 minute drive.

Now if I could just get B to advance me (interest and repayment free...) about 6 grand...

and in light of saving a few bucks a month, I went and got a new battery for 50 bucks. 515 cca's (I think).

Can't wait to go install it. Hopefully it'll help with the dimming and hard starting problems so that I don't have to check/replace my alternator.

why did you get the alternator checked BEFORE you bought the battery?
autozone and most stores test for free

Cause the battery is 6 years old, and I didn't have my car when I went to get it.

right on. saving money ownz. i also gotta get a new battery for my truck as the one in it dont have enough to start it in this single digit/teens temperature. and YES i do have a new alternator so i know its not that.

hahaha

maybe just a cd player with front mp3 inputs for my laptop... so I can listen to my music on my laptop in the truck instead of the boring radio.

Besides I already have one of each.

lol. I remember when I had a company truck last year. I loved it. 2004 Silverado 4x4 Crew Cab. LT trim. Loved it to death. But company went under so I left while I had a chance. I drove that thing everywhere last year.
