 :headsmash: Hey guys I really need some help here. I was driving home from work one night got gas and drove home everything was fine then all of a sudden problem: as I would accellerate it would be like power.....none.....power..... etc. and just like it didnt know what it wanted to do. So I got the car home on a prayer and wondered what the prob was. I checked everything the fuel filter, compression, spark everything is fine. Now the damn thing wont turn over, could it be timing? Is there anyone who might have an idea what is wrong with my car please make me a suggestion. I havent driven it for like a month and just miss driving it know im stuck with my girls eclipse:( and i want out of it and back in my ek thanks guys.

Take the distributor cap off and look to see if the screw that holds the rotor button lined up has completely backed out. Sometimes with alot of high rpm driving causes these to back out. So the rotor won't spin with the distributor, making some weird symptons trying to start it..
hope this helps..

Not sure if you already fixed the problem, but you might want to check the coil. The same thing happend to me with my old Ls Vtec and it was the coil.

It turns out the sparkplug wires I had, one was bad causing it not to start and the tps sensor had gone out. Now im back on the road again.

I know you got this fixed already, but I have a similar problem with a crx, turned out to be the ground wire from the valve cover to the rad. support, replaced the wire and the car ran great, had same symptoms as yours though
