I need some help..I have a 94 civic with a mini me(d15b-v-tech).. I want more power, Im wanting some help on putting a b20 in my car or even a b18b what ever has a easier swap but I perfer a b20 cause I can get one for $549.00..I need to know everything I need for the swap..Thanx

when it comes to the ease of the swap, they are basically the same. you just need a b-series trans to go with it and a phk ecu (if you plan on leaving the b20 stock). you will also need a conversion harness if you go with the PHK. if you stay obd1, youll defintiely need to get that tuned. I dont know of a stock ecu that will run that right.
I dont know what phk means..And I dont plan on keeping it stock , get head port and polish get cylinders honed get the block blue printed, Change rods,pistons,bearings and all the other stuff inside.. , And of course turbo on it..To what you said any b-series tranny will bolt to it like the gsr trans with the lsd.?
welp, youll need to convert the engine for obd1 if you plan on building this engine. you can scrap the blue print, its been a waste of money for the past 15-20 years. PHK is the ecu for the stock B20B, but with your build, your gonna want a p28 or something along those lines, and youll definitely want to have it tuned (even NA). Also, if you plan on going turbo id recommend using a B16 head cause the b20 head flows like shit...id be willing to bet that a bench test would show the PnPed b20 still under flowing the b16.
As for the transmission question, im quite sure all b-series transmissions are interchangable (while all the parts are not). One of the civic/teg guys will have to back me up on this. I read a lot, my arena is accord/prelude.
