Honda Scene New Kiid
Hey i am kind of blind when it comes to honda swapping until recently i was still just in my 73' monte carlo ..... so big step into the honda world now.. i am working on a 95 civic still building a ls/vtec motor up... and i was wondering what all do i need to put this motor in now? i have the factory b18 tranny, axels computer and shift linkages from a 99 integra ls, but this guy keeps telling me i cant use those parts to put this motor in my civic that i need some special hybrid parts i was wondering if this is true or not.... the same guy telling me i cant do this swap with these parts is also trying to buy the motor from me telling me i got ripped of because i paid 3k from the complete package and hes trying to get it for about 400 from me... anyone with answers please

You can use everything... I can't even think of a part on there that won't work with a civic.
You did get ripped off for $3k though, that should've been an $800-1000 swap package.
Good luck

Agreed with the above statement. If the ecu is obd2,you might want to convert to a obd1 ecu.Tranny, axles, block and linkage is fine. You will need a lot more parts if your going to do a lsvtec, but the parts you have now will work just fine.Don't sell the parts to the guy.My advice to you would be to do some research and shop around for your parts because 3k for a block, axles, ecu and linkage is wayyyyy to much.Good luck on putting together your motor and your car.

I have a similar story but its kinda different. I have a B18C1 and im pulling it out of a 92 hatch integra. I have the entire car and I can swap everything out of one and put it into my 95 Civic DX Coupe. Now the question is, will the axels, shiftlinkage, harness, ecu, mounts, brakets and non hydrolic tranny work into my 95 civic? Or will I need to buy all of the above?

I know the original body of the engine was a 98 Integra GSR.
Any advise from you guys?
