Just for fun I put a h23a1 non vtec head/IM/ex on my wifes 90 accord f22a1 (already had motor with spun bearing) Car runs fine and I'm using the accord dizzy ( mounting plate) .
I don't want to switch to OBD1 , but would like a bit better performance. Was wondering what OBD0 ecu would fit and work even slightly better than stock.

dont know forsure if it will work but if you could find a f 20a ecu it might work good because its for a dohc

f22a1 is obd1. theres no switching involved.

and the stock ecu should work fine. not the best, but it will do for now.

if you want, get an h23 ecu(you will need to wire up a knock sensor), get a p39(ecu from f22b dohc) or get a chipped p06 with a basemap.

p.s.

I sell chipped ecu's. Pm for prices

what in the hell are you talking about?

90-96 accords are already obd1. any f22 is obd1, except for a few 96's.

all 3 of yall need to settle down. keep it nice or go elsewhere. remember the tech sections of these forums are supposed to be references for those who search. if there's a disagreement, settle it like adults, not MMO addicted teenagers.

Inflammatory posts have been deleted.

btw, 90-91 accords ARE obd1.
