I want to turbo my 95 Civic DX Coupe it is all stock with D15B7. I want to get in the 200 HP range. What do I need to do to the motor to be able to add a Turbo without having to worry about tearing it up. About how much would this cost.

Thanks,
Jake

Buy the Edelbrock kit- that's the easiest/cheapest way to get to a nice turbo setup on your D. You're not going to be able to hit 200hp at the crank (much less the wheels) without some extra tweaking though.

I have 2500 to spend and all labor is free. What can i do with that.

wow ive built my kit for less than 1200. and thats with motor.

hf manifold and ihi turbo ftw

I'm $75 into my D turbo setup and all I have left to get is piping and injectors.

And how many people blow their engines up within two months? How many people use turbos with excessive shaft play? How many people rush through the build just to get it done and have "OMG m4d bl0w0ff v4lv3!!one!"? That's what I meant, dude. Not that an hmt will always destroy your engine, just that to many people think they can just slap something together and call it a day. Putting together an hmt still takes a lot of thought and consideration...I'm sure you agree.

That said, I live in California so an hmt is barely even in the back of my mind.

yeah I hear you. I live in CA too. having a hmt sucks for smogging.
