i remember that rally. it was on the news. the cops found out about it and gave them an "escort". it was over here on the west coast if that's the right one. i can't name them all, but some are pretty sick.
 
only rich people would get a police escort.

didn't you see the quotation marks? it wasn't a real escort. the cops found out about the state to state race/rally and blocked off all 3 lanes and kept them at the speed limit the entire length of the state.
 
Yeah, that's actually kinda cold. The nice thing to do would be for everyone to hit the gas at the same time - give them too many targets. But then again, it IS a race, so they would want ONE PERSON to step out of line to rid of them of the cop.

What a game of cat and mouse. I wouldn't even toss a cigarette out the window in that scenario.
