Anyone ever tried it? I've seen a video about it on an EK9 and the sound is just awesome..

According to the video by changing the block you can achieve it...

Any place where they could build it ?

Is there any other way? Reprogramming maybe? Any other mods that i should do? Is it reliable?

How is the whole thing? In details please...

Thanx in advance

Yes, you can do it- just run a short enough stroke and you can rev as high as you want. The question to ask is: why do you want to rev that high? RPM = ruins people's motors.

hehe well let's just say that i love the sound of the 11000... Any other way you could suggest?

short stroke, big cams, lots of porting, bullet proof bottom end, short primary header, high compression, etc. you CAN, but its impractical for a street motor. lifespan will be greatly reduced.

spoon used a special block brace, kind of like the s2000 used inorder to help with the vibrations. once they stablized the short block then they rev their b16b to 11,000 all day. i think they even used all of the factory honda hardware(rods/pistons/crank)
as long as you can stablize the bottom end then you add reliablity.
i am not sugesting that you do this but i bet i would really be fun to rev a engine to 11,000 without it blowing up:D

just because you have the ability to rev a engine to 11,000 rpm doesnt mean it wont make power.
:kick:

it will still make power ,just maybe not as much when you take it their.
dont forget i still love to rev but i dont like to blow up engines

but realistially their is never a need to ever rev a honda d/b/h/k/f series to that abnormally high rpms. 9,000 sounds just as cool. but build to make hp and if you plan on revving that high then some very big duration cams would be nessisary and will have to compromise some low end power for high end power.
life is about compromises

Were you saying you wanted to rev to 11k just for the sound. If so that makes you an idiot. If not then my bad. No reason to be mean on purpose.

There is no reason to rev that high unless you can make power that high which I think is almost impossible.

the only way you can make power that way is upgrade your valves, springs and retainers and throw in some buddy club stage5 cams and arp rod bolts and throw in some 11:5:1 compression pistons in it and you will make mad power even then i think you may start loosing pwer around 10 or 10.5k
i only rev mine to 9.5k to be save and thats with a 81.4mm bore 12:0:1 compression flycut pistons, arp head and rod bolts, ferrea valves, crower valve springs and retainers and stage 4 buddy clubs, even in the 9k range it screams... best thing to do is bend your tack so it looks like your doing 11k when your really doing 9 lol

please stop spewing BS. you dont have 81.4mm bore because no one makes such a piston. you will need a lot more then what you listed to make power at 11k. read what i wrote. and youll need a lot higher compression then 11.5. probably even bigger cams then the BC5's (which 11.5:1 wouldnt be enough for anyway)

when i say 81.2 its 81.020 you knew what i meant
and im not spewing bs i have the swap on my car i just wish i could find my damn dyno sheets
and like i said even with stage 5 cams you will be lucky to make power at 11k
quit being a hater
i make 255 with a micropolished and balanced crank balanced rods and pistons .020 block bore a honed head and the other stuff listed
most of the work in in the tuning i was putting down 220 and with a good tune im at 255
