ek9 with k20a build? need help

First thread so here goes,
Ive got a 1.4litre ek9 but bought a b16b and sold that on b4 having it fitted, im now lookin at a biger engine like the k20a, can anyone tel me if this will fit in my 98 ek9 hatchback? also can i turbo charge this with a garret t4 turbo and super charge it to lose a bit of that initial lag? any other ideas of what i can change on this eg. the clutch or cams.

im looking to spend up to 15k on the conversion and build inc engine which is 2500 so if anyone knows someone who cud get this as 4 wheel drive instead using any other builds please let me know

f1? iveonly been driving a year, don't wana go too extreme, just use the car for daily stuff and a 6 hour round journey of motorway time 3 days a week.

K20A= will fit with slight modifications
Super+Turbo= yes you can
4WD= why, go buy a WRX

Just stay with your one off 1.4 ltr. engine. If this is the knowledge you have about auto mech. youd f*%k the swap up anyways. And only a year I think maybe your K20A swap is a little to much power for you anyways.

i dont see how the fact that i bin driving for a year 'shows', didnt drive onto the forum did i and i cant see any records of my driving ability to be available anywhere, Anyway moving on, im going to get the k20a then and turbo and supercharge it,
I wont personally be doin the swap at all, so i dont see how i could f*%k it up??

Nothing wrong with trying to have some origionality, i love the civic till the death and il stay with mine till it really is time to go, but i dont want to be like everyone else on the road with their 1.4 turned 1.6's, p.s. noticed your mostly in America so shoud point out me budgets in G.B.P + no im not going to sel this car and start fresh with a new one or anything like that

in other countries they have as small as a 1.3 liter in EG's and EK's.

On the papers from honda its a 1396cc, labeled as a 1.4litre and 1.4 on the mot papers which was done at the honda garage.thats why i said its a 1.4

15K for a k20 swap, twin charged, and actually running and driving.......NO WAY. Not to mention that is a deadly choice for a young driver. That car will have ridiculous tq steer as well as burning tires like crazy outta a turn. Get the K20 and be done, it will be plenty quick.

If you serious and have the money just get the turbo or the supercharger. If you put both on there is wont even really be a street car. You will get no traction. It will also be very unreliable with both on there. I have seen it done once and that was to see how it looked in the engine bay. Trust me. If your going to build the engine and turbo just get the K20a2 and Turbo it. It will have enough power with just a turbo.......................... Thats crazy......Turbo and supercharger....lol
