i think im going to buy one of those ebay kits with the pipes already made, since the car will not be my daily drive(ill use my 02 si for that). the blocks already been cleaned and decked, im waiting on the head work now, also ill be running a gsr trans with lsd, also what do you guys recomend for rings and bearings?
i think im just going to use the stock stuff since it will be good for the power i want to make with it, of course thats aslong as they check out allright ill be sending them to have checked and balanced along with the crank, i want to build it as cheaply as posiablr but i dont want it to blow after 3 months eather
Just remember that TUNING IS EVERYTHING. Mike (Calesta, posted above) can tell you firsthand what happens when somebody doesn't tune your engine well, even when you are running a forged bottom end. Things get ugly.
