I have a 92 eg hatch and i recently installed skunk 2 coilovers and tokico blue shocks but the back wont stop shaking and i feel every little bump pn the road im swerving like crazy to avoid dips and bumps but it still doesnt work. If anyone can help me i would appreciate it... thanks

spring rates are too high for your shocks to compensate for

of course that is assuming that you dont have the car slammed to the ground like most people do when they get "coilovers" (adjustable springs)

another thing that could have a lot to do with the ride quality sucking balls is your choice of rim and tire.. if you are running big heavy ass rims with 35 series tires there is no way in hell you will have good ride quality

basically a little more info is needed on your setup
but reguardless those springs are way too stiff for those shocks

so what can i do to fix it? i just spent 250 on the skunk 2 and 280 for the tokico and i really cant afford to buy anything new right now so if you have any advice it would help...

Skunk 2 springs are way to stiff if you want a nice ride. If your looking to lower it and still have a nice soft ride (your ass won't bounce in the seat) go with neuspeed or eibach.

You could put the stock springs back on, you wont have a lowered car but the ride will be nice again. Then once you get some money put on some nuespeed. Oh and You can return the skunk 2 springs.

just bought some skunk2 coilovers also. havent put them on, but seems like it sucks ass. im thinking of running kyb adjstable with these coilovers. i hope i dont run into the same issue. good luck man. i'd like to know about any resolutions others may have besides buying more stuff.

91 crx si struts

i have the skunk2 coils on my si,with tokio adj,AND I HATE IT!!!shitty ride, improved a little by raising it up, but im converting back to old faithful, kyb and tein s tech!!:D

the springs are strong.
those shocks are not.

thus, its bouncy. there's not enough absorption to be compensated.

no one seems to be adressing the alignment issues. If you lowered your car the camber caster is going to change. You need to install the correction kits. The camber caster is not adjustable stock. The skunk 2's are not to stiff. I would go with adjustable struts however. But if you don't want a stiff ride do not drop your car. When you drop your car you reduce suspension travel. You have to run a stiffer srut to compensate.

camber doesnt make your car bounce.... shocks that are too weak to control the rebound of your springs does
