What in the hell do I do with it? I won't have money for a swap for some time to come, Car has some nicer rims/tires on it. Car needs new header because its current one is rusted damn-near through.

Couple of basic questions:

Will an Ebay Exhaust Manifold for a D16 HB still fit my Heads? If so, what other parts work on the D15, that work on the D16. What are some good affordable options to lower my car safely?

you can use most of the parts off a b16 on the b15 and the exhaust manifold is one of them

Thank you SO much... Just needed to hear that from a 3rd party finally... Any other specific Cheap things thatd work? like can I buy a cheap Cat to go with the D16 Header and bolt it to the DX Exhaust I got waiting for the right bolt-up?
Some other questions I guess "I wanna lower it Cheaply, but Don't wanna fuck up my camber cause the tires are new, Whats a affordable way to lower my Civic without Lowering my funds too much and keeping my tires wearing nicely.

Last question for the moment is "Where can I get cheap Bumpers?"
The front/ rear bumpers on this white civic are pretty badly messed up. *City Car* and wanna know what people think look good on EG Hatchs? I don't want a big gaudy body kit, I was thinking replacement white bumpers with Black front/rear lips? any opinions on what looks good on EG Hatches? *head/tail lights, Bumpers, Sideskirts, Paint? etc? PICS PLZ!!! Lots instore for this car.

Go here for the d15: https://hondaswap.com/civic-del-sol-eg-ek/d15b-vs-d16z6-80350/ , if that can help . Don't try to get too cheap parts because you'll end up with junk. Most aftermarkets parts except for the pistons , timing belt tensioner, cam, oil pump (may be), timing belt fit both engine. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

you can lower your car useing coil overs but you have to get a camber kit if u dont want ur tires to wear f-ed up. my tires wear bad in the front but the rear isnt that bad.thats your best bet if your trying to save cash just dont get really cheap coilovers.

D15B8... 70hp, no V-tec. is in a Base civic CX... What other headers will attach to this? Has anyone boughten a D16 Header and bolt it right up? Just gotta make 100% sure I don't wanna waste money period...

so then would any exhaust mani from any D series 92-95 USDM Civic fit on mine?

and I think he meant D series...

My friend has a 89 CRX si with a D16, but his Header doesn't lineup with my bolt-pattern at all... so I am especially wary of buying a "D16 Header" or did the D16 change universally with the D15 for 1992?

If you're saving money for a swap, I wouldn't do anything to the stock powerplant unless you're going to stay with the D series for the next engine. Spend money on things that are going to stay around regardless of what engine you have- the suspension, brakes, tires etc. Those will make you just as fast (or faster) in the corners than mild mods on the engine.

Basically the Previous header with cat from the CX is completely shot, I can put my hand THROUGH the cat... Car needs enough plumbing to make it from front to back and I just want a cheap route, and Fleabay seems to be a good cheap route... that and what I'm trying to clairfy is what other motors will my exhaust bolt right up to I guess? It'd be nice to do a swap to a D16 and just bolt the exhaust back up to it again.

I don't know for sure, but I think the D downpipes terminate in the same location. If you use the D16 setup, you just won't have a cat.

My Cat-Back isn't for my hatch, I got the Cat-back for a Hatch with a D16, so it didn't meet up with my downpipe (They don't terminate in the same Location :( ) , I just am running the over-axel pipe with the muffler because my old muffler fell off, so I'd imagine I'm still gonna need a Cat since I'm replacing the entire exhaust system with a D16 exhaust system.

Just run whatever you want down under the car from the engine, then have an exhaust shop bend you another setup.

Fair enough... Just trying to be cheap :p Shops = Money :(

Thank you for the Input though. I started doing some reading in some other chunks of the site, and is this the motor that you can do a Mini-Me swap to? and how hard is that to do?
