Hey guys, im new to this site, but i figured this was the best place to find the answers to my questions, anyways, i have an 86 crx si and wanted to know if it was possible to swap the 88-91 suspension into it???

the CRX uses torsion bars in the front...theres no struts/springs

its easy to lower it if thats what you're looking for
-turn of a couple nuts in the front, new springs in the back...done

yeh im not really lokkin to lower it, i just want to get into auto-x im swappin a b16 into it soon, still looking for a motor by the way, so i was seeing what the best thing to do to STIFFIN the suspesion. ive got fat fives on it right now with 195/55/15 and they barely rub at lock to lock. but ts fine

the Suspension Technique f&r sway bars are like $300 for the set on ebay

I saw NOS Mugen torsion bars, internal sway bars, and springs for sale on redpepperracing a few months ago when i was parting out my 1g



-still have my fiberglass 1 piece ZC hood if you're interested

yeh i would def. be interested if i can find a browntop ZC, they are impossible to find... i cant decide either if i want that or just do a 1st gen b16 swap...

Browntops are around, I had one when I had my 1st 1g.

B-series motors are big $$ to swap in...the mounts alone are $600 for EW's

you can pick up an 86-87 D16A1 at a junkyard for $150. With some bolt-ons and a decent suspension the 1g's are very competitive in auto-x
