i want to know whats the big difference between the b16a g1 and the b16a g2....b/c im gonna do a swap and i want to know if spending that much more money would really be worth it...and im new to all this stuff so im not really sure...
 
about 5ft lbs of tork and about 15-20 hp diffrents, is about it and the sir2 is obd1
 
don't forget the SiR-I usually comes with the cable tranny, SiR-II has the hydro

what car is it going to go into?

I would go with a b16a2 from a 99-00 si, that way you will still be obd2, alot less headaches with wiring and computers and such, and you will be sure to get that hydro tranny you will need. If you don't wanna go with the b16a2 or can't find one, then go with the sirII (or g2), it won't be that difficult to convert and will still most likely have the hydro tranny.
