Would Getting a JDM K20A TYPE R Engine

be more cost efficient then just buying parts for a stock civix dx...also off buying parts alone is there anyway i could get my car to 225 hp without a turbo or supercharger kit..if so what parts would i need

well the k will cost about 8 grand to get in there and you not gona make that kind of power with out doing a motor swap,

no way you will get a JDM K20 Type R into anything for 8 grand - we just did one for a guy on a 99 DX hatch and it ended up costing him over 10 grand, not counting our labor

Yeah, the most youll get out of the D in my opinion is like 160-180HP. No 225 unless you boost.
But just have faith in the D there little power houses with the right parts and tuning.
