I want to make over 250hp..

I was wondering what would be the best motor to swap into my 94 civic..

How hard is it to put a h22a in a 5th gen civic?

I love tourqe and I know with b16's you just dont get none.

I know that the more displacement you have the more tourqe
hence the h22a v.s. the b16....

And please dont ask what my budget is.. I have one ..

An H22A into a 5G Civic is pretty easy these days. Mount kits are everywhere, and all you need are a few extra brackets to keep your AC and PS too.

Calesta,

What about the extra weight up front would I have to buy stiffer springs...I have eibach prokit with eibach struts...

I know I can the motor off hmotorsonline for around 2200, plus they can give the right mounts, shift linkage, lsd tranny and the axles to make it all fit in the civic..

I just wanted to know if you have to beat up your engine bay to make it fit?

Thanks

Why not go with a boosted F series? The motors are like 400 and a turbo kit can be made for a lil over 1K with some mechanical skill. I made 200whp and 250wtq with a budget friendly setup. At 8psi with stock clutch and injectors I ran a 14.5. After tuning and all, I feel it could've run a VERY low 14 possibly a high 13. The F series block can be boosted to hell and take it pretty well. 8.8:1 CR stock ;)

The EG has one of the most swap friendly engine bays. I think you do have to make a dent or two, but nothing major.

The extra weight isn't that much, but if you're really worried about it, Progress Auto makes H series swap springs for your car.

^^^^ Dude honestly GROW THE FUCK UP^^^^^

Thanks Calesta....Is true you have to run a slimmer radiator if you want to turbo it...?

Uh Oh

Ummmmmm....................theres been enough hondaswap pissy fights since I joined. And I dont think its worth it.

Not taking a personal stab at you, just trying to prevent another one. And keep the image of hondaswap a good one.

Yeah not trying to start a fight via the internet..

Trying to get some info on the h22a in my civic...

Does anyone know if its boost friendly...

Someon told me the best motor to build for alot of boost was the b18b..

Is that true...

Well im no swap expert but I think all you need is a mount kit.

Any motor can be boost friendly its the money and knowledge part of it that makes it work.

Who ever told you that, dont go back to them.
