"IF they hadn't taken me out, I would have died"

What kind of ignorant beaner shit is that ?

Ok... how is that so amazing? A trailer like that is basically made of cardboard... even with the weight of the goods on it, there's no way it woulda been more than a few tons pressing down on the cabin of that car.

btw that Video has got to be like 10 years old.

rofl!

loaded trailers weigh like 30,000 lbs you retard

Which is 15 tons (usually a lot less) spread out over 56 FEET of trailer.... you retard.

I'd be more worried about the 6 tons of the bobtail falling on me than the trailer.

Obviously its not enough to absolutely flatten a car, he got out and walked away. I just wonder how much of hte weight of that trailer was actually anywhere near the cabin of the car with the weight being spread out over the entire surface area of the car after the initial impact.

LOL Thanks.

I can see this turning into a giant fucking debate with people posting on how they've worked around trucks for years and how they can weigh XX tons, and then we'll have some engineer students design a graph of how the weight was distributed around the cabin based on the position of the trailer vs car in the video...

I agree with 2000si. If this were a shipping container truck, it would be a different story. Its just a standard moving/shipping truck. If the thing is empty, then the walls of the truck would deform. Its like trying to crush a seed with just your finger against a table. Your finger is going to deform around seed. The seed's shell will deform a bit, but not enough to completely crush it.

If it's enough to flatten the car, it's enough to kill a person.

My cousin actually saw someone get killed by being ran over. I think it was in High Point, NC, or somewhere around the Piedmont area awhile back; but a dump truck(not sure how much they weigh) ran over this Accord or Camry with the a lady in it; the car wasn't completely crushed but she was still killed and so was her child in the back(he was across the street at the intersection where it occurred; he doesn't know if it's confirmed they died but he the lady was put in a black body bag and there was another body bag which he assumed was for the child.)

WTF there's a no need for a debate it's common sense. I understand what you're saying about the dispacement but come on now, did u not see the car under the trailer it was flatten

I dont care how fucking light or heavy the damn truck was. All I know is that it was heavy enough to smash the "shit out of the exhaust pipe".
It should have smashed him!!!!!
