Last weekend I wanted to get plastered...then that was it...it was just a want. Last week I also just looked at beer and sake and said.... "do I really need this?"... And I've been sober pretty much all week. Then Thursday and Friday rolls around...and I was completely dry...nothing but water and coffee.... And I actually didn't even have anything to drink till tonight...and I wasn't craving it, in fact...I was like..."well, its here in front of me, I might as well enjoy it"....but that didn't work... So I reached for a water. I just like gave up the need, the want, and the known pleasure of alcohol all together. Granted... I'm trying to kill a bottle of sake... but I'm just in the sipping mode... Strange....
So the world will now end tomorrow or the day after that...
I guess the kicker for me to slow down on the booze was that my back wasn't hurting as much as before, I've dropped down from 12 advils a day to maybe 3 a week, and when I stepped on a scale and saw 240 pounds, and my last splurge on buying the shit took a hefty chunk of my paycheck...it kinda woke me up. I looked at myself....and said I need to cut back a tad...
In 2 days I already saw the scale drop down to 236 pounds...and my wallet hasn't cried as much.
The inversion table I bought on Halloween has worked wonders...and I suggest to everyone who has the slightest back pain to buy one now. Or if you want real abs....then get it. It's worth every penny I dumped on it. Even if you hump over your fender to do a few oil changes...if you feel a strain in the back, then this will be something to help. I'm even back to work on cars, and I can do more at work wrenching on helicopters.
