I had a 24 step process for cleaning cars at the Ferrari shop. I had to master each of them, be quizzed on them, and then I could touch the paint booth.
 
Actually, at the shop, the landlord's son brought his new Z06 down there. Black, with about 10 miles on it. He asked the body guy to take care of it... "It's not shiny enough". Sure enough, he used the paint thickness gauge and made it, literally, mirror smooth. You could read pages from a book reflected on the paint. That took about 12 hours.
 
wow. Now that is great work. If I had the cash i would spring for a job like that
 
How come my guidance counselor did not inform me about this job? I love washing cars. Yea, be a doctor my ass.
