breaking news: the honda s2000 IS a plastic car too!

and the sky is actually been rated higher than the miata by the likes of car and driver and grassroots MS

i know that the s2k has lots o plastic. i have driven the sky and i think it is a piece i thought about buying one because i can get a A buyer from my grandpa and i can add a additional supplier discount from my uncle but i drove one and hated it im not even going to go in to details

Its another who cares.
Honda s2000 35k
Saturn 30k

Both mostly plastic, as are most cars these days. Both about the same power. Saturn, made in America, Honda made in Japan. Honda offers alot of American made cars, but unfortunatly that is not one of them. If I'm going to buy a new car its going to support my future. I don't know if that model has it, but doesn't gm have a 100k warrenty out now anyway, most people don't hold onto a car that long. I would get the sky over the honda, sorry.

Eh, same market segment... sorta. Then read through the reliability ratings on all the car survey groups- S2000 is in the top 5 for reliability, Sky/Solstice is dead last. Yeah.

it shows a 100K warranty on the powertrain in the comparison but the warranty is only as good as the company that backs it...

Thats when you say, my lawyer is on my phone right now *hold cell phone up to service guy* please explain to him how my MADE FOR OFF ROAD jeep broke a timing belt due to being used OFF ROAD. If you can prove that it was the cause of failure I'll with no questions asked pay for the timing belt replacement. but if not then he's waiting on the phone for you.

Did you take that up with jeep of America? or whatever it's called, or at least taken it too another dealership? I've seen a lot of Z issues on the Z boards where one dealer wont touch it making up any reason as to why it wouldn't be under warranty while the next dealership says hell yeah bring it on in.

yes unfortuneatly i did take it to threee dealer ships and thanks to there computer system i got f*****ed no one would fix it and i got the jeep back with the front of the motor in a box i was not happy and it took me a min to get it back to gether but i did and the new napa belt is still there at 100k screw jeep i was going to buy a new turbo diesel wrangler but i dont think that i want to know

and that 100k warrenty on the saturn you wouldnt buy a kia for the warrenty now would you
