well i would rebuild or swap the motor, all im gona do to mine is slap it on and not go over 7psi. trying to find a turbo manifold right now

Is it a F22 in the older Accords? I'm selling my 90-93 Accord turbo kit. Maybe since you need to refresh, swap in the F22 from a 90-93.

well, to get you all excited, there is a turbo kit on ebay atm for this car that has a manifold. contact the seller if you're interested. here's that link: eBay Motors: 86-89 honda accord turbo kit (item 230075496739 end time Jan-17-07 15:05:29 PST)

do a compression check. if it checks out with good numbers, then yeah, turbo would work fine. but keep it down under 10 psi. if you want to go any higher than that, you'll need to do an obd-1 conversion. if not, a fmu, afpr, bigger flowing pump + injectors and afc will get you up and running on a rudimentary turbo setup. but you'll ned to get a manifold custom made or find one for sale. there's a canadian company that sells ramhorn manifolds for the a20 motors, but they're CAN$750 (about US$650). if you can't get one made and $650 doesn't cut it for you, cruise the for sale forums at 3geez Forums and you might get lucky and be able to snag one when it comes available. and look around the rest of the forum too. you might find out that power is there without turbo. right now, someone is selling a coupe with a built a20 that's putting out 165 whp ~ 190+ crank hp and plenty of other rare goodies like koni shocks and dc sports headers + strut tower bar. if you live in cali, it's a hell of a deal. if you don't but can afford to fly out and drive it home or have it transported to you, it's a hell of a deal.

no bolt-in swaps available for 3g accords besides 1st gen jdm b20a (not the 2nd gen jdm b20a from 3g ludes). bolts right in, even uses same wiring. but you need at least a pk2 ecu to get it to run. if you can, snag the stock ph3 ecu, get it. if you want another motor in there, everything will have to be custom. the only company (place racing) that used to make the b-series mounts and axles for the swap went out of business.
