wow, so much for the cowboys resurgence, I predict a losing season next year. There is a vacuum in the quality coaches world, he could have demanded millions. But he didn't proof he's one hell of a guy

*tips hat*

thank you Parcells, even if the Cowboys suck lol

I bet Romo is feeling real good about himself right about now.

His screw up not only cost the post season, but one of the best coaches in the history of the NFL to call it quits.

Great job Tony.

parcells definitely deserves the respect he gets from around the league. he is a phenomenal coach. i think he got tired of jerry jones running the show. that's why every other coach has issues there to. i would hate to have my boss micro managing and looking over my shoulder all the time.

damnit parcells turned a bunch of no name losers into a playoff team. now i have to deal with them sucking another 5 years. by the way anyone seen the stadium they are building???

They'll be ok... watch Jerry Jones go out and get Bill Cohwer...wouldn't that be fucking bad ass :D

I got a friend that moved out to Texas a few months ago. His parents bought a house in Arlington and he went and got himself an apartment and he said he is about 5 min from the new stadium. He said it's fucking huge.

Tony Romo was not the cause of him leaving nor was TO... quit drinking all the Haterade and go ask your mom for a hug.

Parcells is/was the greatest coach of our time. I've always loved the ol big tuna, sucks he retired..............again. Is this his 3rd time retiring, because i lost count. :p

but come on, did you SEE the guy after week 6. He looked as bad as Keith Richards.

Cohwer is definately not coaching for atLEAST 1 year, i bet he'll return after 2 seasons. And ill say this because i feel i must.. I'm a closet TO fan..

i live 20 minutes from arlington and that stadium is MASSIVE....although there are fewer urinals at the new stadium....im not sure if thats the wisest idea considering how painful the half time piss is at the irving stadium (also 20 minutes from my place).

I am too, dallas just needs to run more crossing patterns. NO ONE can take TO through the middle, and hes always got insane coverage on any FLY they run, so its really hard to utilize TO like that...and it feels like thats all dallas ever did.

I assumed he was retiring after this year. There was a lot of talk about this being his last season, and without doing as well as he'd like, he retired.

Am I the only one that saw this coming?

“I am just hoping his retirement brings promise to what the team has to offer,” Owens said. “This past year was a big letdown. On paper we were as good as anybody we played against every week. The end result didn’t show that. Our play was not indicative of what we could have done. What we should have done. Hopefully, the owner will hire a coach to take the team to the next level.”

“Coming into this season and this situation, I wanted to be positive,” Owens told the Star-Telegram. “When I talked to him for the first time we left an impression on each other. I still think he is a great guy. But he is like my grandmother. You love the person, but they are stuck in their old-school ways. You can’t move them from their way of thought.”
