Can I moderate? I really enjoy the political debates here but certain memebers see the need to make personal attacks and that distracts from the goal which is finding the truth

It already begins 
A politics thread would be neat, but it would be just a series of posts all on the edge of turning into a flame war.
Maybe we should consider enforcing a "politics" icon on the threads, or somehow create a filter for those that want nothing to do with it.
Mostly, believe it or not, our threads are managed well. There are a handful of people that start name calling and threatening, but the amount of people that I see reading those threads appreciate the viewpoints and "Bringing it to their attention, regardless of politics"
If you start to do searches for some of the worlds headlines, you will find links (Like 1st and 2nd page links) on google that take you to Hondaswap. That's amazing.

I would only take action if it becomes personal, and as big fan of politics there won't be much I wouldn't see

We should make a thread where people can go and work there problems out. Like an anything goes kind of thread. To keep all the hate and fighting off the threads.

they seem to go fine in here... true there is a sometimes a lot of bickering and shit and a lot of people probably dont give a fuck about reading political threads... but why dedicate an entire forum to that... if people dont want to read it no one forces them to click...
i just think it will end up being more of a problem than its worth... people will post something in here that ends up turning into a political bitch fest (like the tax return thread) then moderators have to decide whether or not to move it to the political forum, leave it here but off topic, edit out the political bitch fest portion and tell them to start their own political bitch fest thread in the political bitch fest forum, or simply lock the thread... i see it being more of a pain in the ass than its worth... i say just let it fly in here
